We’re a Colorado Limited Liability company and we own and operate the radio shopping show which is an on-air retail radio program that broadcasts throughout Denver and the Front Range in northern Colorado, and I’m a Cbeyond customer.
The virtual receptionist is a great tool for us because it allows us the flexibility to be in or out of the office and not have to worry about having somebody there to answer the phones. It also is a much warmer and user friendly application because it allows me to program the system and answer the phones at times we select. You can select it to do nothing, you can select it to do everything, you can select it to route calls, to forward calls, to put calls into voicemail. In our particular case because we’re a live radio show and we’re on the air we’re doing our program and we screen our live phone calls but when those lines are busy it allows the callers to leave a voicemail so that we can call them back right after our radio program and fulfill their orders and we don’t have to worry about it. It’s seamless. I can program virtual receptionist from any laptop or desktop computer anywhere I am. One of the other great services that we opted for through Cbeyond is our network backup.
I’ve got a small backup hard drive but with the Cbeyond backup system it is completely integrated with our internal LAN and it backs up our system every night. Every morning when I come in and fire up my desktop I get a message letting me know that there were no significant changes made to our network overnight, which is again another great precaution to make sure that all of our data, all of our sales information, all our of customer information is safe and secure. And it’s off campus, so I don’t have to worry about a catastrophe hitting our building because it’s stored off campus within the Cbeyond servers.
Cbeyond is my IT department. I don’t have to worry about hiring and building and buying and all kinds of other expensive tools because Cbeyond provides all of that backroom technology for me. I think my favorite thing about Cbeyond is that they do what they say they are going to do. I’m a small business and I don’t have much time to waste and when I have to get shut down because of technology changes, server changes, or outages, that costs me time and it costs me money.
With Cbeyond, everything they said they were going to do they’ve done. They’ve done it quickly, they’ve done it efficiently, and they’ve been extremely friendly. I had questions on my initial series of bills and I called the Cbeyond billing number. They walked me through that, they answered all my questions- way beyond my satisfaction.
