- Complete redundancy for zoned cooling, power and fire suppression
- Physical security measures including biometric identity verification, zoned access and monitoring.
- Video surveillance of all access points recorded and archived for one year.
- Security glass and reinforced door frames, walls and ceilings.
Type II SOC 2 Audit Completion
Cbeyond is one of the first cloud hosting providers to complete a Type II Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 (or "SOC 2") examination. Our processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and tested by an independent auditing firm.
Established by American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, SOC 2 standards evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of data center controls for security and availability. The audit of Cbeyond’s Louisville data center demonstrated that Cbeyond is compliant with the relevant security and availability criteria and that its customers are served and hosted in a secure, controlled facility.
