Why SIP Trunking?

Today, you are at a competitive disadvantage if you need to include your TDM gateway equipment in the quote since so many IP PBXs are interoperable with the BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service and do not require that additional equipment. Also, removing the TDM gateway removes 80ms of latency. Since latency aggregates and becomes audible at approximately 300ms, you are decreasing the chance of receiving a call from a dissatisfied customer.

• Using Cbeyond’s VoIP LAN assessment tool, if you find your customer’s LAN is experiencing common Network Address Translation (NAT) issues, because so many firewalls in production are not truly SIP-aware, Cbeyond can offer you its hosted NAT traversal service that it enables via its Session Border Controllers.
